1. Agreement to Terms

dudewebdesigns provides custom web design, development, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins. Any changes to the agreed scope may result in adjustments to the timeline and cost.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit of 50% is required before work begins
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final files are delivered
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated
• Late payments may incur additional fees and may result in suspension of services

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you receive full ownership of the final website code and design assets created specifically for your project. This includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and any custom graphics or illustrations produced for you.

We reserve the right to display the completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. Any third-party assets (stock photos, fonts, icons) remain subject to their respective licenses.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely delivery, you agree to:

• Provide all requested content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner
• Provide timely feedback and approvals during the design and development process
• Ensure that all content you provide does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Designate a single point of contact for project communications

Delays in providing content or feedback may extend the project timeline accordingly.

6. Revisions

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as outlined in your project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be billed at our standard hourly rate. Major structural changes after development has begun may be treated as a change in scope.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a project after work has begun, the following applies:

• The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced
• If cancellation occurs before any work begins, a full refund will be issued
• For partially completed projects, you will be billed for work completed to date

8. Limitation of Liability

dudewebdesigns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific project in question.
